(3)无低温脆性:铝在0℃以下,随着温度的降低,强度和塑性不仅不会降低,反而还会提高。

(4)无磁性:冲击不产生火花,这对某些特殊用途十分可贵;可用作仪器仪表、电气设备的屏蔽材料,以及易燃易爆物的生产器材等。

(5)吸音性好:对室内装饰有利,也可配制成减震合金;这一特性用于高档铝合金音箱制作,特别是经纹理蚀刻后,其内部真实面积大大提高,将更进一步提高音响综合性能。

(6)耐核辐射:铝对高能中子具有与其他金属相同程度的中子吸收截面;对低能范围内的中子,其吸收截面仅次于铍、镁、锆等金属;而铝耐核辐射的最大优点是对照射产生的感应放射能衰减快。
